S to L

Here are two different iterations of a poem I wrote.
I liked the idea, but didn't like how ordinary it was, so I experimented with words a bit.
The second would be better, I think, with a wider vocabulary. Meh.

Take an S
grab it by the tail
it will thrash and writhe
hold fast!
Grip it with both hands
turn your hips
keep holding tight
all in one motion now
legs, hips, back and arms
like a whip!
Whuppah!
Now you have an l

Grab that S
slithering slimy slick silent
seize it
swing it 'round
assertive, dissonant
slowly twist its smooth frailties
laboriously, resolutely
let is slip, just slightly
swallow now, simultaneously
throw its bulk against the wall
like a lance, allowed to lay straight
look now! You have an l
